Hi, I’m Paola! Creator of joy, balloon artist, and founder of Balloonique.
I never planned on getting into the event industry… Before founding Balloonique, I was a new mom on maternity leave, looking for an outlet to express my creativity amidst the whirlwind of diaper changes and sleepless nights.
It wasn’t until I began experimenting with balloon decor for my own family gatherings that I saw how much joy balloons could bring to any celebration. Seeing my balloon displays light up guests' faces and earn me the title of the "Balloon Lady" made me realize I could turn my passion for balloon art into something that could have a real impact on people’s lives.
What started as a small business specializing in custom displays for intimate events quickly expanded. When a corporate client reached out for a large-scale event, I knew it was time to go all in. I took the leap, launching Balloonique as a full-service balloon decor business, with a full team of talented balloon artists, in Toronto.
Now, our team gets to bring the magic to celebrations of all kinds—from intimate backyard birthday bashes to large-scale corporate parties. It fills me with so much joy to see how something as simple as balloons can turn any event into an unforgettable experience.
